On Saturday July 8th, 2023 the 2nd Annual Field of Dreams event took place!
Hancock Partners wishes to thank the vendors, musicians and the local sports teams who came out today to support the Field of Dreams event honoring Honest Eddie Murphy, and the Sports & Activities Scholarship Fund in his name for Hancock youth. We wish to thank all our corporate and business sponsors including our most recent sponsor NBT Bank.
Hancock Partners was thrilled to welcome the National Park Service at the event and hope they can join our events more regularly for educational activities and outdoor programs with our local residents and tourists. We want to invite them to be part of our River, Road & Rail Art Trail next year and add an educational program as part of the #artventure
We also encourage everyone to support the the Hancock-Deposit Youth Football League who are doing some amazing things, and who are fundraising for new uniforms. Their team Raffle for incredible prizes will be going on another month or so to raise the much needed funds. So please support our local youth teams! We will post how to get tickets tomorrow afternoon on our FB wall.
Special thanks to lone of favorite local bands, the Poison Love Band, who performed for 2 hours in very high heat, we just love your work and you always impress.
